[more.]

....and speaking of disasters, this scares the holy bejesus out of me. not only did a random hole open up in the earth and swallow a three-story building, but that coupled with tropical storm agatha caused a total of ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE casualties. from the looks of the surrounding neighborhood, it doesn't look like these people have a ton of extra cash laying around the rebuild the place with. talk about adding insult to injury...

okay, that's all of the doom and gloom. (for now.) promise.

Giant holes in the earth freak the hell out of me. It's so unbelievable and you never know where a giant hole will pop up (or down) next. SCARY!

I think what makes it scarier is the massive, bottomless pit that it looks like.

It does, however, have a bottom. According to National Geographic it's 30 stories deep.

Even more eerie to me is it's near perfect circle. Like some giant came by with some tool and just drilled a hole in the earth.

That hole looks like pure science fiction! I can't believe that it actually happened!
