[seattle helping haiti.]

last night, we went to seattle to attend "seattle helping haiti", a benefit concert and auction that mike was asked to be a part of in support of the millions affected by the recent earthquake in haiti.  we were thrilled to be there and to be a part of something so worthwhile.  other bands who joined in the effort were the maldives, memphis radio kings, and the classic crime... it was pretty amazing to be in the same place with so many people who were there for one reason- to help.

on another, not altogether unrelated note, mike makes great videos.  he's always filming shows and events and then he brings the footage home, magically uploads it onto his computer, pounds on the keyboard for a minute and then... voila!

it's perfect.

i, on the other hand, don't make perfect videos.  when i put something together, the video is too long, the angles are off, sometimes the camera ends up in my pocket and i get a full half hour of muffled talking and blackness. i don't do all the extra bells and whistles very well so i either go WAY overboard or leave them out altogether.

at any rate, i said all that to say... here's my "behind-the-scenes" video from last night or, as i like to call it, the "holli-cam".  most of it's shot from backstage so you get to see what i saw.  forgive its imperfection... i'm no magician.
